Fireplace solution

We've been undecided on the design of the living room fireplace for ever because it needs to fit a lot of different criteria:

1. accommodate a water heater which has a large tank above and behind the hearth
2. accommodate a second flue from the fire place down stairs
2. fit into limited space in the corner of the room
3. look right - not too rustic and not too modern
4. not be too complicated to install

and I think I have found a solution. Look over that lovely stainless steel bench to the corner fireplace. This design would allow us to hide all the bits behind the facing and would not take up too much space. I like it!
